Treat the whole gang to a round of chili cheese dogs! My Chili Cheese Dog Sliders turn this summertime favorite into an awesome party food.
What memories do chili cheese dogs bring back for you? For me, it’s all those summer evenings in high school, hanging with my buddies at the DQ. Just one bite into a meaty, juicy dog smothered in chili and oozy melted cheese, and I’m right back there.
With this recipe, you can recreate those memories in no time flat. Just split your dogs, lay them out on the buns, and smother them in chili and shredded cheese. Add the tops, baste with seasoned melted butter, and bake them for an hour under foil and five extra minutes without. Then slice, serve, and savor the nostalgia.
Recipe Notes:
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days in an airtight container.
